Why do I need payment routing?

With payment orchestration, you can optimize your payments to decrease
processing costs and increase revenue with fewer transaction declines.
Orchestration ensures that complex businesses that operate in many
different geographies and deal with many currencies or multiple PSPs
can effortlessly optimize their payments with a single technical integration.

What are other benefits of payment orchestration?

An obvious benefit when dealing with multiple currencies and countries is that routing to local PSPs in local currency will generally result in lower fees. You may also route payments to PSPs with better conversion rates. Another benefit is that you simplify your payment stack and reduce your technical debt with a single integration to our orchestration API.

How does payment orchestration work?

Using our powerful workflow engine, you can define the exact rules for which you want to use to route a payment. Rules can be simple ones, for example, route EUR denominated payments to one PSP, and all the others to another. They can also be more complex, like the example in the interactive widget above. The possibilities are endless and can be fine-tuned exactly as you wish!

What properties can I use to route my payment?

The more data you receive from your customers, the more possibilities there are. Basic ‘fields’ can include the currency, card scheme, or payment amount. More sophisticated data, such as fraud probability and fail-over rules can also be integrated (not shown in this demonstration).
